The Founders' Story

MGT Insurance was born out of a simple but powerful belief: modern technology can transform insurance into something far more efficient and accessible for small businesses across America. As brothers and Co-Founders, Graham and Michael Topol spent their early careers in different parts of the insurance and tech industries but both saw the frustration caused by how much time, money, and human potential was wasted in legacy insurance systems.

They launched MGT to build the world's first AI neo-insurer — an insurance carrier built on a modern tech stack, using AI to better serve our customers: the 35 million small businesses and their brokers that power the American economy.

From the very beginning, they knew that success depended not just on technology, but on trust.
